“Live your life, not your fears”.

Simple yet powerful sentence. Isn’t it? We are all living in our fears. If you break down the won’t fear, it means:

● F: false

● E: evidence

● A: appealing

● R: Real

Fear is a negative false assumption that appears to be real. Sadly, we all live in that mirage. We all live in fear. Do you know anyone who is not living in fear? I haven’t come across anyone like that. Having said that I’m tempted to ask, what are your predominant fears? I’m not amazed if you are not aware of that. As per a survey, it was found out that, people live in constant fear of the future but when asked they could not define their fear, the reason for their fears and their predominant fears. Strange but true.

Recently, with a pandemic, we all are even more afraid of the perplexing future. But, just think, how wonderful life would be without fear? Just imagine if you could live freely, without worrying about what will happen in future? Just weave a thought of how life would be if you ward away all your pre-assumed negative thoughts?

Indeed, life will be just like heaven on earth. I’m sure we are all on the same page.

But, the problem is that we all wish to live a fearless life but we don’t take any actions. Instead of living, we are living in fear.

If you wish to silence your fears away, below are a few tips and tricks that can help you for sure:

Acceptance or acknowledgement of your fear: we boast that we are leading a fearless and carefree life but the reality is just the opposite. So acceptance of our fears is the first step you can take against your fears.

Don’t run away from your fears: Yes, accept them, feel them and don’t ignore them. You can’t run away from them. Expose yourself to your biggest fears. The power of your fear will vanish, shrink and you will be free

Be positive: Make your thoughts positive. Let positivity dominate your fearful thoughts. Make conscious efforts to think positive. Don’t make time and room for the fears to peep deep.

Remember your victories, good memories: Yes, revisit your golden days, your victories. They will encourage the feel-good factor in you and ward away pessimism.

Live in present: Live in present. Forget yesterday, and tomorrow. Let not your past bad experience don’t overshadow your present happiness.

Get in touch and seek support: don’t be lonely, it invites all negativity. Be surrounded by your family, friends and create a strong support group too.

We all are living in different kinds of fears like losing someone, the fear of death, the fear of financial loss, the fear of job loss etc. Though we all know that fears are imaginary, we tend to overpower them thus making them feel real. But with the above-stated tips, I’m sure you can break the shackles of fear engulfing us and lead a happy and successful life.
